In the northern regions of the Russian Federation, especially in the far north, transplanting rosemary into the soil does not make sense due to the climate, so it is best to grow the plant in spacious pots in greenhouses or greenhouses.

It should be remembered that at a temperature of -5 degrees Celsius, rosemary dies and planting a plant during periods when warm weather may change dramatically is unacceptable. So, it is better to practice cultivation of rosemary in the open field in the Moscow region after the 20th of April.

Circumcision and care

So, for the winter bushes can be attributed to the basement or utility room without heating or with minimal heating. If you keep the plant in suitable conditions is not possible, you can put it in the living room. At room temperature rosemary can also successfully survive the winter. Rosemary can be grown in open ground again in the Rostov region starting from early April.

If in the winter the bushes are kept in the most suitable conditions, in February-March they will bloom with beautiful blue flowers.

Rosemary is a perennial plant. With proper care, rosemary will retain its spicy taste and smell for a long period, but if the recommendations given in the article are not followed, it will be prone to disease and may die.
