Modules today perform the function of an art object, that is, they give the room an aesthetic meaning, creating a bright individual design that is sure to be remembered. Varieties of modular paintings, and what are they?

A modular painting is an art object that consists of several separate panels. Putting it all together, you get one picture. Images are usually divided according to the number of individual panels, the method of location and size.

Segmentation

The canvas, depending on the number of segments, is called:

1. Diptych - consists of only two models. It occupies a minimum of space and is suitable for a small room;
2. Triptych - three separate modules. Depending on the size, it can be used in the bedroom or living room;
3. Polyptych - the picture consists of four or more segments. Of course, this option takes up the most space and you need to install it in a large room. Often this kind of decor can be seen in the office;
4. Pentatech - has five panels.

Segment size

In order to correctly select an image, you should first find out all the sizes of the room and take into account its features. For example, a triptych of narrow vertical models will look awful in a small room, but equilateral panels will already be a decoration of the room.

For a large room with a high ceiling, both small and large segments are suitable. But here for a large room with low ceilings, you again need to correctly choose the shapes and sizes.

Dimensions of modules:

1. Square - segments of the same shape and size;
2. A rectangle is also the same shape and size;
3. Rectangle - but with differently sized segments;
4. Rectangles with different heights;
5. Modules with different widths and heights.

Panels can be mounted on the wall horizontally or vertically, in some cases there is a ladder, asymmetry or puzzle.
