A wire with an aluminum section is much cheaper than copper, but its functionality is more limited. In addition, copper is able to last a longer period of time, which casts doubt on the feasibility of saving.
The choice of cross-section for the wire is determined by approximate calculation of the total power while simultaneously connecting all available in the room electrical appliances. It is important to remember that saving on cable cross-section can lead to negative consequences. That is why it is recommended to carry out the calculation with the current consumption margin.
