The kitchen is an important component of the apartment, here the hostess, and the whole family, spends a lot of time. Therefore, it is important to arrange a special atmosphere so that you can work in comfort and have a good rest. The husband suggested creating a dream kitchen, ordering headsets and making repairs. The magical reincarnation was a success. Now the kitchen is a favorite place for all family members.
Repair cost 345.0 thousand rubles, 120.0 thousand rubles were spent on furniture, household appliances cost 115.0 thousand rubles.
The set was ordered in the form of a wave; its line is perfectly repeated by a suspended curly ceiling.
Integrated backlight allows you to conveniently cook, because not only the dining group, but also the work area is well lit.
The floor is covered with a moisture resistant laminate. They didn’t make an apron, they left the original tile, ordered a set of pleasant sand color.
The old kitchen corner, left from the previous owners, was successfully sold, it was replaced by chairs, trimmed with leatherette, and a table made of glass. It can be moved apart, which creates additional convenience when meeting guests. Glass products do not “eat up” the space; they look aesthetically pleasing and easy. A chair for the baby stood well nearby. Lunch group successfully accommodates up to 6 people.
It was not possible to choose a standard kitchen set, the reason for this is two unsuccessful protrusions in the wall. The salon designer came to the rescue, who offered an excellent solution. One of the protrusions was hidden behind a corner cupboard.
The other ledge is wide, more than 1 meter, so I had to sacrifice the width of the lower tier of the headset. He was 50 cm instead of 60 cm. Accordingly, for the same reason, the depth of the headset has decreased.
An interesting and convenient solution is a retractable hood. It is mounted in a cabinet, and inoperative almost invisible. In order for the backlight to turn on and the design work, it is enough to push it forward.
The kitchen room, despite its small size, includes three conventional zones - a storage area, a work surface and a cleaning room. The storage system is organized very well, here is the main household appliances, which the hostess uses when cooking. It includes a hob and oven, range hood and multicooker.
On the shelves in the cabinets there are food products - cereals, pasta, spices, as well as small kitchen devices and utensils. Direct cooking takes place on the work surface; cutting boards, graters, knives, small dishes and other little things necessary for work are located at hand.
The so-called tea zone also fit on this surface, the family stores all the accessories for tea drinking here. The third part was a sink and dishwasher. A boiler is installed in this zone, utensils are stored in the closet, and there is a garbage bucket. This is the corner part, the length of which is 1.7 m.
A free-standing refrigerator fits perfectly into the headset, naturally becoming an integral part of it. Above it there is an additional cabinet for small things.
The sliding mechanisms with which all the furniture is equipped make it convenient and easy to use. Boxes, despite being filled, are fully extended without falling out.
The headset has a drawer in which it is convenient to store bottles, cans and tall narrow dishes.
In the small town where the house is located, there is no hot water supply. Therefore, the family was forced to install a boiler. A water heater was placed on the wall under the sink, a compact model of 15 liters was purchased, this is enough to provide the family with hot water. Detergents, cleaners are located nearby, and set on the side bin.
The efforts were not in vain; the kitchen turned out to be functional, practical and very cozy. In this bright and warm room it is pleasant to spend time.
