And my husband and I found the opportunity to do the home improvement. Soon a year, as we made repairs in the kitchen.

The kitchen in our apartment is standard, only 9 square meters. By today's standards, even a little one. Therefore, I had to think carefully about which interior option to choose so that we get a functional and practical kitchen. It is important for me that the working area is comfortable and large.
The main colors were chosen light - cocoa, jasmine, walnut. They look simple and unobtrusive. The facades of the kitchen are made of Italian acrylic. Quality material, very easy to clean. Glossy facades look great in both natural and artificial lighting. In the evening, light inclusions on the doors of the upper drawers are especially noticeable.
Cabinets are equipped with high-quality fittings, handles are installed in one plane, drawers open easily thanks to closers, there is a cargo system. A separate cabinet with a built-in dishwasher, the door rises up, and next the drawer opens with a touch of TIP-ON.
We are completely satisfied with the new furniture, thanks to competent manufacturing and high-quality assembly by specialists, it stood up perfectly, it is a pleasure to use it. The assemblers installed all the accessories in place, very carefully drilled holes, made measurements. At first glance, the pens are too big, but it’s convenient to use them. And they fit perfectly into the general style.
Near the refrigerator hung a cabinet with open shelves. He allowed a little unload space. Its width is only 30 cm, here I store tea, coffee and jars with spices. Everything you need is at hand, this is important, especially in the morning, when you need to quickly prepare tea before going to work.
The working wall was decorated with Spanish tiles, the glossy surface reflects light. Frosted tiles laid the floor next to the work area. It turned out to be inconvenient that dirt is trapped on the matte surface, it is easier to wash the apron.
On the wall next to the work area are three sets of sockets, double and single. They are used to connect household kitchen appliances. Separate sockets were made for the TV and microwave, next to these gadgets. There are two more outlet zones on the opposite wall.
Our TV is conveniently arranged on a special shelf. We always put the remote on a shelf next to the TV so as not to look for it. Nearby lies the power supply for this gadget. In this place, we also store chargers for phones, everything in its place, very convenient.
The corner microwave stood on a shelf on the table. This is our know-how, the socket is mounted immediately after the unit on the wall, it is not visible. The shelf, arranged in the corner of the table, is very convenient, because it allows you to use the entire surface of the countertop to good use. The microwave design is very interesting, many of our guests confuse this device with a TV.
The dining group combines a table, two chairs and a small sofa made of eco-leather. The table is laid out, allowing all our guests to get settled. Furniture made in Indonesia. A storage niche is hidden in the back of the sofa. There I keep a meat grinder, large kitchen utensils, a juicer - those things that are not needed for constant use. Under the table below is a double outlet, which is constantly involved.
The ceiling has a ledge above the working area, fixtures are built here. An elegant chandelier hangs over the dining group. It is arranged quite high, but it suits her husband.
The window is filled with double-glazed windows with wooden frames, it was put about ten years ago. It is closed by curtains "day-night". In my opinion, fabric curtains in the kitchen are an absolutely impractical solution. In addition, the south side, the fabric instantly burns out, losing its attractive appearance. With curtains "day-night" in the kitchen a comfortable atmosphere is maintained all year round. It is very convenient to use them, and they serve well.
The walls are decorated with Venetian plaster, the ceiling is decorated with plasterboard. Heated floor made in an area free from the headset. This is important to us, the apartment is angular and is located on the top floor of a multi-storey building. Heating does not work well, it is cold in winter.
They refused the water filter; a jug is enough for us. Under the sink are a garbage bin and a container with vegetables. The mixer is installed with a pull-out shower, a convenient feature. I use it often. There is an aerator on the mixer.
Of the imperfections, one wall remained next to the dining group. There is no way to do its decor, although I have long wanted to pick up a big picture here. The problem is that I can not decide on the plot. I want a vivid image with views of the old city or an elegant stone wall of the castle entwined with green vines. Not enough bright colors.
The estimate for the arrangement was rather big, because we tried to make repairs for a long time. It is unlikely that in the near future we will again want to radically change something. Most of the money spent on the purchase of equipment. I dreamed of quality kitchen devices, modern trends. Everyone bought it in Minsk, the amount was impressive - more than 100.0 thousand rubles.
I am very pleased with the result of our work. The room only looked uninhabited for the first time, photos were taken just after the repair was completed.
The kitchen is not only beautiful and stylish, but also functional. Everything in its place, in order. There is no excess decor, it is not needed. Light colors allowed to save free space, it seems to me that dark colors would make it visually smaller.
The husband most of all uses this room as he is already retired. And I like to cook here, receive guests and children with their families. Warm family gatherings with sincere conversations are much more pleasant to spend in just such a home environment!
