Our built-in kitchen is part of the living room. The room is not as large as we would like, but thanks to the compact headset, there is a dining table-island for food and a sofa for relaxing.
The second fashion trend embodied in this design is a different line of facades. Today it is a popular technique where the work area is visually highlighted. In our case, it was additionally emphasized with color.
The kitchen is made in achromatic colors, the neutral monochrome interior turned out to be refined and restrained. The gray and white combination brings solemnity and order to the room. A matte stretch ceiling with built-in lights continues the stylistic unity of the composition.
The white and gray palette is slightly diluted with a countertop and a light marble wall panel. The same color coating on the island, not only on top of the table, but also on the sides, too.
Monolithic cabinets up to the ceiling allowed creating maximum storage space, but since the facades are light, they do not look massive. The kitchen turned out light and weightless. Sections are MDF boards with a thin frame profile around the perimeter. The base is straight and smooth. Facade decoration - matte enamel.
The kitchen is made in a modern style, it is linear, with the island in the middle. But from the classics there are several elements left in it. These are the pilasters on the sides, the upper cornice and the small (12 mm) frame of the facades.
Showcases are glass in an aluminum frame with a trim to match the headset. They open without a handle, using the edge of the frame. The facades are provided with Italian handles-brackets with an intercenter distance of 16 cm.
It was for this kitchen that Atlas-Lux created an individual small hood. The rest of the built-in equipment was able to be selected in exact accordance with the dimensions of the cabinets. Oven and microwave are in a convenient place for operation - in the middle of a high pencil case.
The laconic and restrained kitchen against the background of white walls turned out to be unusually comfortable. And that’s why we love her.
