Layout
The original version of the room was a minimal set of furniture and equipment for a bachelor. However, as the work progressed, the plan changed; significant adjustments were made to it. The ideal solution to the kitchen space is when it combines something that is impossible to combine in theory: with minimal investment get maximum functionality, and in a small area, place a sufficient area where products will be stored, a comfortable place for cooking and eating food.
Furniture
It is worth thinking about where furniture will be purchased in advance and choosing a reliable manufacturer, time-tested.
Kitchen furniture is made in white color and unusual style. They managed to combine modern mechanisms and classic forms. The main idea of the installed headset is a convenient and spacious area for cooking, a minimum amount of open space, combined with a storage system.
The choice is made. The designer suggested the correct arrangement, so that the kitchen was closer to the male theme. The gas meter was originally planned to be transferred under the sink. In the headset there are: drawers, a grid for drying dishes, compartments for spices, compartments for household chemicals, drawer shelves, baskets. All retractable, opening mechanisms are equipped with closers.
It is worth noting immediately that the design of the room was thought out competently, with the allocation of space for the cat. His bowls and drinking bowls are located in the corner, which was specially allocated for this. Here they do not interfere with the passage and movement in the kitchen. In an open niche was placed a basket where bread is stored.
Color selection
Tiles, wallpaper and floor matched a white set. As a result, the main tone was chosen warm, so that the room looked soft and comfortable. Since the kitchen had a balcony, a combination of white and beige was chosen.
Floor
Natural ash parquet was chosen on the floor to combine with solid wood furniture. The material is not glossy, made with three-layer impregnation. It does not scratch, looks natural and is pleasant to the touch when walking barefoot.
Initially, the repair in the kitchen was planned in an economical mode. Therefore, wall decoration is inexpensive, made of wallpaper purchased in Ukraine. Wall decoration is done in neutral beige colors. The cost of three rolls of wallpaper was $ 30.
Tile
Laying tiles was carried out in three stages with a frequency of one day. To create a working wall or an apron, not a standard tile was used, but a floor tile, which successfully combined the right size and affordable price. A similar idea was proposed in the tile salon, it was implemented in this kitchen.
Ceiling
Only white paint was needed for the ceiling. The perimeter of the ceiling is not decorated with baguettes, since the design of the apartment as a whole does not imply the presence of a similar edging of the ceiling. The lighting fixture for the room was purchased at a sale. Therefore, the chandelier does not fit slightly with the overall style, but the lighting characteristics are excellent. The cost of acquiring these items and decoration materials is minimal.
During the finishing work in the kitchen, household appliances were purchased. In this case, they helped with the selection of equipment in the "family salon". As a result, the kitchen was equipped with an oven in the color of a headset, as well as a stainless steel metal panel.
Washing
The sink for the kitchen was chosen taking into account practicality, because the shade stands out from the general interior. The color scheme for the kitchen sink turned out to match the countertops. The texture of the sink makes it easy to care for the product.
Cooker hood
A hood is also part of the kitchen furniture, so you do not need to purchase it additionally. The device has been slightly upgraded. LED bulbs were installed inside the hood, illuminating the surface where the food is being prepared. The only thing that has not been changed is the refrigerator. This model is high-quality, durable.
Zones
The cooking and storage area is ready. It remains to transform the area where food will be taken, i.e. table. Chairs decided not to change. It was assumed that at the table not only lunches will be held, but also work on a laptop. For these purposes, a large “self-saw” table was purchased in the store. At this stage in the kitchen there will be just such a model, subsequently it is planned to purchase a dining group to match the headset and the overall style of the room.
Above the dining table in the wall mounted bracket, on which they put the TV.
During the repair, do not forget about the power of electrical appliances. Sockets are located on the apron. In the future, it is planned to highlight the working area and base with tuning in the form led backlight. At this stage, the kitchen is well lit, because of the light combination of white and beige tones, the room is bright and comfortable. It is nice to cook here, you can eat and invite friends.
