Any self-respecting sink manufacturer should supply a wiring diagram for them. It should indicate on which side the water supply is located, at what height the fasteners and structural elements are located, how the sink should be located relative to the wall, where the overflow is, and where is the hole for the mixer, and, of course, everything dimensions.

How to install a sink with a pedestal: installation steps
So we got to the most basic. The first stage - we prepare all the necessary tools. We will need:
- hammer drill;
- screwdriver or screwdriver;
- adjustable wrench;
- sealant (tow or FUM tape);
- set of fasteners;
- siphon;
- mixer;
- roulette;
- level.
If you change one sink to another, nothing can be done, but you will have to dismantle the first. First shut off the water. Or you can not overlap, then the dismantling process will go much more fun, but less efficient.
Place a bucket or basin under the siphon and carefully unscrew it. Despite the blocked water, its remains stagnate in it. After that, carefully unscrew all the fasteners and remove the sink.
Attention! To install a sink on a pedestal, you need a perfectly flat floor. Check this with the building level and level it if necessary with a cement screed.

At the bottom of the mixer you will see a threaded hole. Screw the stud into it and put on the O-ring on top. This is necessary so that the crane does not become loose over time.

One more seal is put on from below, then a washer, which is fixed with a nut.
That's all. We will connect later, because now we have a siphon in turn. First put the drain hole in its place.
Assemble the bottle siphon and screw it to the drain using a bolt. We will not connect it to anything else yet. First you need to hang the sink.
Punch or drill holes in the wall at the points you marked. Insert plastic dowels into them.
Reference! For reliability, you can pre-fill the sealant in the holes.
After that, plumbing fixtures are screwed.
Now put the sink on the wall and fasten the nuts. Before tightening them tightly, once again check the evenness of the installation with a building level.
Now you can connect all the pipes! From the siphon will go corrugation, which joins the sewer. Flexible hoses with hot and cold water are connected to the water supply.
The last stage is the pedestal. Usually it is ideally suited for height, therefore, it does not require additional fasteners, but “supports” the sink.
Possible installation errors
Be sure to read them and never do it. First, I’ll talk about the most common problems that a wrong installation faces:
- loose shell or pedestal;
- the gap between them or between the sink and the wall.
All this, as a rule, from insufficiently tightened fasteners. A wrench to help you! If only the pedestal staggers, then the floor is still not smooth enough. To compensate for skew, you can use silicone.
