How to disassemble a siphon in the bathroom or in the kitchen to clean it

Then, using the plunger, we clean the dissolved debris and rinse the plumbing with a hot stream. If the technique did not work on the first attempt, we repeat all the steps.

Blockage prevention

The following measures will not require much effort, but will ensure stable and continuous operation of the siphon:

• put dishes in the wash basin without food residues - they must first be removed in a bin or other place for waste;
• install a sink in the sink - an electric device for grinding food particles and a grease trap;
• treat the drain with hot liquid every day (up to 2 l) to prevent the accumulation of fats;
• at the end of the day, after the last meal, wipe the washbasin and pour soda or salt into the drain (from 1 to 2 hours. l).
