Usually, to get inside the external monitor, you just need to remove all the screws on the back of the display and take it apart. Pretty simple. It may seem a little harder sometimes, but not impossible. First open the laptop and find all the screws (sometimes they can hide under the rubber feet). After you unscrew the screws, many times you will also need a flat-head screwdriver to gradually open the case. Be gentle, but do not be afraid to use some power. After removing the back of the computer, disconnect the screen from the converter. Disconnect the screen completely from the chassis by removing the remaining screws.
Now the fun part begins (the part where you should be most organized and careful!), Disassembling the LCD itself.

IMPORTANT! At this point you should be very careful. Lamps contain mercury and are very fragile. This step is not so difficult, just be patient. Do not make any effort when removing, otherwise they will break.
Take the LED strip and insert the lamp exactly where the old tube was. Again, be careful and this step will be easy.
After inserting the LED strip and routing the cables correctly, assemble the LCD as you disassembled.
After you assemble your display, reconnect the inverter and any other cables that may have been connected to the display. Then, before you fully assemble the case, check your display to make sure everything is in order.
NOTE! Be VERY careful with open connections and cables, especially with the inverter. Touching the wrong part can not only damage you, but also damage the display.
Make sure all your connections are tight and there are no extra screws. Finish assembling the monitor case, and you're done!
