This name is also due to the size of the element (diameter is about a centimeter, and length is 4.46 cm), since its length corresponds to the length of the little finger. The cell weight is about 12 grams and the voltage is 1.5 V. It is important to note that the manufacturing method greatly affects the weight. For example, even seemingly identical devices may differ by 1-1.5 grams. The productivity of AAA salt batteries is 540 mAh, and 1200 mAh alkaline ones.

Typically, this battery is used in small devices that have low current consumption. For example, remotes, toys, cameras, etc. Chargeable cells can be recharged. Such a battery will cost more, but its lifespan will pay off all the costs.

When buying AAA batteries, it is better to give preference to nickel-metal hydride cells. Since they hold a charge better, they retain their properties even in frost. The market leader in this group is PANASONIC ENELOOP. Its products can withstand more than 2000 recharges, so they can last 5-7 years.

These batteries have some things in common. First of all, this concerns the voltage - in both cases it is slightly more than 1 V. It is also worth highlighting the service life. In each, it is quite long (provided that it was not a budget device that was purchased, but a more expensive option).

They also differ in their affordable price: some of the most expensive batteries will cost 100, maximum 150 rubles. In this case, you will buy a battery that will last quite a long time.

Important! Budget options from our Chinese neighbors have a lower price. However, their service life can sometimes be limited to 1-2 months, even in the remote control.
