But why, I can't unscrew a simple nut, or what? I could not! No, I know the theory that this is done with a special key. And I even know where they are stored. But I couldn't find the size I needed. But now I know that I can do without it. True, it was not possible to impress her husband with her theoretical knowledge. He listened to me, of course. At the same time he grinned. And then he told what else could have been done with this ill-fated nut.

I'll tell you right away. Men, most likely, after reading this place, you are no longer just grinning. Relax, man, find yourself something more entertaining! You don't know that women sometimes have to unscrew the nuts too. And if you still haven't bothered to tell your wife how easy it is to do this in your absence, keep in mind: she will find a hint here. An option familiar to handicraftsmen who have a small vice. The nut is fixed in a vice and then unscrewed.

Calipers

Another alternative is a caliper. They act similarly to the options already described.

It is important not to forget about your own safety! If the caliper falls off the fastener, injury may result.

Sometimes men risk taking the necessary action even with large scissors. They clamp the nut with the handles of the scissors.

We do not think that this operation should be repeated. Especially if you do not have such experience and you do not feel confident in performing the procedure.

Wooden plank and nylon tape

Not the most traditional way, but why not give it a try if nothing more suitable is at hand.

A nylon rope (you need at least 15 cm) is tied tightly in the middle of the wooden plank. The free edge of the nylon begins to wind on the nut. Twist the rope until it runs out. Now unscrew the bar. Together with it and the nylon, the fasteners will also move.

Hammers

Another option for hands familiar with tools. It will take two hammers. On one side, the nuts hold one hammer. On the opposite side, they easily knock on others. At the same time, they move in a circle, in the direction of unscrewing.
