Before choosing a spotlight with LED lamp, light sensors and movement it is worth paying attention to the most key parameters.
Criterion # 1 - power and luminous flux
Closely related characteristics on which the brightness of future lighting actually depends. The higher the power rating, the more intense the spotlight will burn. However, in order to understand whether the potential of the LEDs is enough, it is necessary to take into account both the area of the illuminated area and the height at which the device will be installed. The higher the editing is made, the more the light will be scattered.
To calculate the potential level of illumination, it is necessary to divide the value of the luminous flux by the area of the illuminated area. The result is measured in lux (lx). An acceptable indicator of the average illumination of streets and squares, areas near shopping centers is 10 lux. For residential buildings, this figure has been reduced to 4 and 6 lux.
