It would seem - a black and brown kitchen, what could be more boring and banal? But not in this case. Everything in our kitchen is special, starting with the layout. This is a kitchen-living room with a total area of 67 m2. The dining room with bar and utility room takes up about half of the space. The kitchen with an island, located in the residential complex "Malakhit" in the city of Krasnodar, turned out to be incredibly effective. The furniture case is made of laminated chipboard by Egger, the color of the decor is Dark Space. The kitchen island has skillfully combined all the materials of the headset (glass, veneer, plastic countertop).
Facades of several types. The main ones are MDF with wenge veneer. They have an integrated black painted integrated handle. Natural woody shades are not overwhelming or flashy, on the contrary, they look very organic and presentable. All open shelves, panels on the wall and the door to the utility room are also made of wenge veneer.
Another type of facades is laminated chipboard and black Lakobel glass. The apron is also made of Lakobel glass. On the back side, the 4 mm surfaces are painted black and it is the contrasting gloss that successfully complements the beautiful wooden surfaces. Despite the fact that all facades are blank, the furniture creates a feeling of spaciousness with an abundance of air.
Plastic tabletop City-Plast, color Dark Moon, with an edge matched to the maximum color of the surface. The structural pattern is applied to 38 mm chipboard, on top of moisture resistant HPL plastic (2 mm thick).
Cabinets with glass doors are located above the refrigerator in a niche, they go on the same level with Lakobel glass panels on the walls and go into mezzanine cabinets above the kitchen.
Fittings: Blum HK hinges and lifters are installed in the upper cabinets, Indigo drawers from McMart, drying in the lower base. An original solution was the illumination in the lower cabinets, which is triggered simultaneously with the door opening sensor. And the beech cutlery trays immediately grab all the attention.
There is a lot of additional lighting in the kitchen: luminous shelves above the countertop, lighting along the bottom of the entire kitchen and the island, in an open shelf on the island, light in the drawers.
