We decided not to install a pendant chandelier on the ceiling (as is usually the case in the classics). Instead, there is a massive shade surrounded by small spotlights and patterned stucco moldings decorated with gold.
The L-shaped kitchen set is located on an area of 20 square meters. The elegant ATHENA ORO kitchen is an example of exquisite decor. Moreover, the degree of saturation with decorative elements could be chosen independently.
The color scheme is the same here, the walls, floor and ceiling differ by only a couple of tones (as it should be in a classic interior). The collection offered design options from light white with a minimal touch of gold) to immodest and defiant. We have chosen a milky shade, as the purest and most calm.
The facade frame is made of solid ash. Central part (panel) - MDF faced with ash veneer. This breed is quite hard, practical and durable. Finishing - painting with white enamel, plus patina with gold. From a distance, the furniture looks like it is made of ivory. The tone is soft and warm, yet lively and truly luxurious.
Columns in the Greek style, glasses with French binding, patterns and flower rosettes are the distinguishing features of our set. Cabinets almost to the very ceiling, which visually pulls the furniture up. Thin wood on the glass, openwork grilles, open frames for the side shelves - all this made the large kitchen light, airy and weightless.
All the elements together do not look like a jumble of pompous and pretentious design details, on the contrary - the composition is thought out to the smallest detail. At the entrance there is a large box for household appliances and a refrigerator (tucked away behind the dairy facades).
Next to it is a wide cabinet with a dish drainer. And on the next wall there is a volumetric dome hood framed by glass showcases. Symmetry is the basis of a classic typeface, and here this rule is followed exactly.
Original stained glass in the form of fine lines gave the furniture a special charm. Glass showcases are located not only at the top, but also at the bottom.
Choosing a countertop, we opted for an artificial stone. The assortment of the palette and pattern of the stone is huge, but we liked the contrasting beige and brown slab. It favorably sets off light facades patinated with gold.
Looking at the elegant facade of a classic kitchen, it is difficult to imagine that the filling of cabinets and drawers in it is the most modern and high-tech: a heated towel rail and Kessebohmer bottle holder with soft release, Blum Intivo white drawer system with mobile content dividers, soft closers for quiet closing doors.
In our cozy kitchen, the design is clearly worked out and all the accents are correctly highlighted. Therefore, solemnity and luxury are harmoniously combined with ergonomics and functionality.
