Therefore, we all want it to be of high quality and work for a long time, not make too much noise and fit into the interior. The main parameters of refrigeration units
When buying, you need to take into account many factors and parameters. For example, it is advisable to buy models with electromechanical control. However, today almost all refrigeration units are equipped with this.
The most economical energy class is A +++. Further, in decreasing order, there are less economical ones (A ++, A +, B, C, etc.). Noise level must be specified in the instructions. If there is no desire to constantly walk with stuffy ears, it is not recommended to purchase a device with a noise level of more than forty decibels.
The optimal compressor is inverter. It works quietly, is energy efficient and lasts longer than others. An important nuance: for a refrigerator with such a compressor, you need to purchase a voltage stabilizer, because with surges in current, the device will quickly fail. There are versions of refrigerators with one or two compressors.
Dimensions and volume of chambers
There can be from one to six chambers in the units. The most popular are two-chamber. The sizes of refrigerators for most manufacturers are similar, sometimes differing by only a few centimeters (that is, single-chamber units from different manufacturers will be almost the same in size). In order for the refrigerator to fit into its intended space, it must be carefully measured. Otherwise, a problem may arise that the unit will not fit in the place allotted to it.
The volume of the refrigerator is measured in liters. For a family of three, the 250 liter model is suitable. If the family is five to six people, it is best to choose a unit with a capacity of 350 liters.
In a bachelor's apartment, where only beer is cooled, a mini-freezer will be enough at all.
Freezing types
There are several types of freezing. This is thermoelectric, absorption, compressor. The quietest is thermoelectric. Defrosting can be both manual (when disconnected from the network, as in the good old Soviet units) and automatic. A manual defrost device is usually cheaper, but the defrosting process itself is rather long and inconvenient. If you are not constrained in funds, we recommend choosing a refrigerator with an auto defrost system (No frost).
Some manufacturers have a freezing chamber at the bottom, sometimes it is absent altogether, i.e. there is only one main compartment. The size of the camera can be very different. Sometimes the freezer can be larger than the one we are used to. However, of course, most often the main camera is larger, because it is more convenient for everyday life.
Climatic class
There are four main climate classes:
- N. Assumes the operation of the device at temperatures from sixteen to thirty-two degrees. This class is most often bought for a house, it is the most optimal.
- SN. It is used at temperatures from ten to thirty-two degrees. As we can see, it is a more cold-resistant class. Suitable for rooms in which it is cold in winter.
- ST. For temperatures from eighteen to thirty-eight degrees.
- T. Unit for the hottest climates. It is used at temperatures from eighteen to forty-three degrees.
Refrigerator selection criteria
In this matter, it is important what you will use the refrigerator for. For giving too functional is not needed (although it depends on which cottage). For home, it is better to use models with great functionality. For example, with a temperature setting, open door indicators, protection against bacteria, super freeze and other useful qualities. Naturally, the price will be directly proportional to the "feature" coefficient.
Experts advise you to pay attention to the following details when buying:
- For your convenience, the shelves should be glass.
- The unit should not be pulled by the smell of chemistry. If the unit stinks of chemistry, then its quality leaves much to be desired.
- It will be convenient if the refrigerator has wheels. This makes it easier to move.
- The seals should fit snugly when the door is closed. And, of course, be intact.
- In some models, it is possible to move the door to the other side. That is, if the door opened on the left, it can be moved to the right. This is convenient when rearranging furniture. And the interior in the kitchen is different for everyone.
- And, of course, the choice by color. Here we can hardly tell what is right and what is wrong, because everyone has their own tastes.

Good single-chamber refrigerators cost an average of about fifteen thousand rubles. Two-chamber for home - about fifty thousand. However, you can buy the unit much cheaper, but the quality will then be appropriate. Multi-chamber functional models will cost about one hundred thousand rubles.

Nowadays, many different types of freezing units are being produced, in which it is easy to get confused.
