Storage conditions
Quite often, situations arise when the performance of certain electrical work takes a long time. It is in such a situation that it is necessary to ensure the correct storage of the wire. According to established standards, VVGng (A) cable must be kept in the following conditions:
- The ends of the wire must be free of moisture. This can be avoided by using special end fittings or heat-shrinkable caps. The penetration of moisture entails a decrease in the quality of insulation and electrical strength, which reduces the operational life of the wiring several times.

The drum with the cable must be flat. Only in this case it will not be damaged by the weight of its own weight.
