Preparing for installation and choosing a location

During transportation, special shipping bolts are installed in the equipment, giving rigidity to the moving elements. Therefore, it is important not to forget about them, and if they are screwed in, then they should be removed. Depending on the model, their number can be from three to six pieces.

The main requirement when choosing an installation site will be the presence of all the necessary communications nearby. The washing machine itself is a stationary device. The machine should be moved by at least two people. It is better to connect to a water supply or sewerage system with a rigid connection, although the use of flexible elements will expand the options for installation sites. Such places as bathrooms and sanitary rooms, corridor, kitchen are popular. When located in the kitchen, do not have

equipment near the oven or a gas stove. Direct sunlight is also undesirable.

Do not install the device in an open area to avoid exposure to rain and thunderstorms. The use of carriers to connect the device to an industrial network is undesirable, therefore it is recommended choose a place near an outlet with the appropriate power or lay a separate line from the distribution shield. It is necessary to provide free access to the device plug. When choosing a place for installation, one should not forget about the noise that will appear during washing or spinning, as well as vibration.

The requirements for the flooring and the floor are to provide them with sufficient strength and shock absorption. Better, so that the base is monolithic, non-slip. Ideal coverage is not required, but it is desirable that the floor is flat in a horizontal plane, without noticeable grooves and differences in height. Installation directly on a concrete base is a good option.

In order for the washing device to be in a strict horizontal plane, adjustable support legs are available. The height of the legs is set using a level located on the cover of the device and using a wrench.

Water connection

To supply water to the washing machine a cold carrier water line is being used. It is not recommended to use a hot centralized system, since the quality of such water purification is worse. To prevent large particles from entering the water supply system, coarse filters are installed, which are a set of nets.

A tie-in into a centralized water supply system is carried out using a tee. A branch is made from this tee, on which a shut-off valve is mandatory. It is convenient to use a valve of the "American" type. On it, if necessary, screw the adapter fitting for use with a hose with a diameter of ¾ inch coming out of the washing machine.

If it is impossible to install the tee, the branch can be performed with a laid-on tie-in. To do this, the pipe is carefully cleaned, and a clamp with a rubber gasket is attached to the place of the proposed tie-in. For the flow of water, a hole is drilled in the pipe directly through the sleeve. Next, an internal thread is cut and a valve is screwed in.

Another way to draw water is by screwing the hoses of the washing machine into the faucet / shower system. For this, a number of adapters and fittings of the appropriate sizes are used. A hose leading to the shower head is unscrewed from the mixer, and a multi-way tap is installed in its place. Depending on its position, the water is shut off, enters the input of the machine or a shower head. If suddenly the length of the water supply hose is not enough to the connection point, it can always be extended using a union.

The reverse side of the hose is connected to a special hole in the washing machine through a threaded connection. Often, a leakage protection system is installed before connecting the hoses. This is a complex electronic-mechanical device capable of shutting off the water supply in the event of a leak.

Organization of water discharge

The next important step will be the organization of the drain point. This can be done in different ways.

The easiest way is to use a special device called a "hook". Usually it is made of plastic and quite easily hooks onto the side of the bathtub or toilet bowl. The main thing is to avoid steep bends and to ensure that the hoses rise to a height of 60-70 cm. This rule applies to any type of drainage organization, otherwise the water from the machine will simply drain into the sewer without washing.

There is also a second option for using a special siphon, which has an inlet for a hose from a machine. If required, a drain is installed above the knee to prevent dirty water from entering the washing machine system, which will lead to the formation of odors.

The next way is to use a sewer tee. Such a device is installed in the socket of the sink or bath drain, connected to the vertical inlet through the sealing gum is a plumbing device, and to the outlet at an angle of 60 degrees, the machine is drained through the sealing cuff.

If the hose is not long enough, you can lengthen it by connecting to another hose of the same diameter. Do not use used hoses. The maximum length of the additional hose must not exceed 150 cm.

Industrial power connection

Here are the basic requirements for organizing the connection of the device to the electrical network system:

1. The connection socket must be earthed and capable of carrying sufficient current.
2. The wire used must be three-core and capable of supplying the required power to the machine. Its cross section should not be less than 2.5 square millimeters.
3. The use of extension cords and tees is undesirable.
4. A separate circuit breaker must be installed in the control room on the electrical line suitable for the device.
5. There must be mandatory insulation of the grounding wire.
6. The power cable must not be damaged or kinked.

If it is impossible to use a three-wire line, it is recommended to use a residual current device (RCD).

After the installed washing machine is connected to all communications, you should check it. For this, the minimum on time the program and observations are carried out. We will be informed about the correctness of the connection:

1. Turn on the indication on the device.
2. No leaks.
3. Quick set of the tank.
4. Absence of extraneous sounds in the washing mode.
5. Lack of extraneous odors.
