If the installed vapor barrier does not have a gap (minimum 4 cm), then with a change in air humidity, the condensate will evaporate and not be absorbed into the roofing material.
Condensation between the floor and the film appears when the anti-condensation film is laid on a continuous floor.
2. Condensation appears on the windows.
If the installation of the vapor barrier is not carried out correctly, then a terrible microclimate is formed in the room. As a result, you will notice condensation forming on the windows.
3. The ceiling begins to sag.
In this case, water accumulates between the rafters on the waterproofing material, after which the ceiling begins to sag and moisture forms in the room.
4. Water begins to drip from the roof.
After the formation of a huge amount of water under the roof, water begins to flow from the joints, sections and overlaps.
5. Decay and mold of wooden structures.
Rotting often occurs if an adhesive mass is not used, or a special tape for vapor barrier of roofs with a small angle of inclination. This leads to the penetration of rain into the roof and sudden damage.
Snow and rain fall through unprotected cuts on the film. This occurs at the places where ventilation, antenna leads, pipes, etc. are located.
If vapor barrier material is incorrectly installed in the roof of the house, then damp, mold and fungus will soon form. As a result, the wooden elements of the roof rot and collapse.
