Modern construction of buildings, structures, hangars, warehouses, shopping pavilions and complexes is often carried out on the basis of sandwich panels. These are technological materials that consist of two metal profiled sheets, between which is a thick layer of mineral wool, made on the basis of natural stone. This makes building processes quick and cheap. A large trading pavilion can be built in just a few weeks, in one month, and this with minimal material costs. The panels have:
- High heat-saving characteristics;
- Light weight;
- Good performance.

What are the additional elements used for?
Additional elements are facade elements, which are actually fasteners and at the same time decorative finishes. Structural elements are used for various types of connections. Shaped structural elements are applicable where regular lock structures are not involved. They are made out by them:
- Angles.
- Adjacencies.
- The ends of the roof.
- Different slots.
- Clearances.
- Longitudinal joints.

Such elements protect against moisture penetration into the structure, to maintain uniform temperature, to avoid deformations, to compensate for temperature so that expansion does not occur metal.
The main additional elements include:
- Low tide base.
- Corner structures (both internal and external).
- Window tides.
- Skate, gutters, parapets.
- Snow retention and so on.

Installation issues
When joining roofing panels, special additional elements are used specifically for the roof. The difficulty during installation is the need to use a sealant, which must be poured into the gap.
Some additional elements come in a configuration consisting of 2 pieces. They are installed obliquely or horizontally. First, the lower ridge is mounted on the roof, which should be installed directly under the panels. This creates some difficulties. Then you need to apply a technological sealant that completely closes the gap. Only after this is the second part of the additional element installed, covering the structure, creating an interesting decorative appearance.

Perhaps this is one of the most complex installation processes that you can imagine, because, for example, for base corner joints simple corner joints are used, without any complexity and additional processing.
