Why it is impossible to install platbands on a tile

If platbands are installed in the bathroom during the period of repair work, then it is advisable to begin their installation before facing the walls with ceramic tiles. In some cases, the door leaf changes after tiling the walls. Then the ceramic tiles need to be trimmed, level the surface of the wall, primed, degrease it and then begin installation work. The resulting seam between the platbands and ceramic tiles should be blown with a sealant to the tone of the facing material. To trim the tiles, you need to use a grinder equipped with a diamond-coated disk.

When choosing a sealant, it is strongly recommended to pay attention to its composition and features. It should contain components that repel moisture and prevent the formation of fungi and mold.
