Masonry sequence: why it is important not to break

When starting the construction of any kind of brick walls, it is necessary to observe the sequence of masonry. There are three methods of masonry, each of which has its own differences.

Decent

This is a simple and time-consuming method at the same time. It consists in the fact that it is necessary to complete the laying of the upper rows and lay out the bricks of the started row, and only then move on to the next. This method is often used when laying with a dressing system in one row.

To facilitate the process, you can adhere to the following order: spoon bricks of the 2nd row of the outer verst are laid after the tykkov of the same verst. After moving on to the inside of the row. Such a sequence allows less frequent transition from external to internal upper rows than if one row were laid out completely, and then another.

Stepped

The peculiarity of this method is that first they put a milestone in the 1st row, with external spoonful versts on it (from the 2nd to the 6th row). The following is laid out on the inner tyke verst of the same row, as well as 5 rows of the inner verst and zabutka.

Such a sequence allows you to make a maximum of 6 rows in height. This method is well suited for masonry with multi-row dressing.

Mixed

It consists in combining the first two methods. The initial rows (from 7 to 10) are laid out in order. Further, with a significant wall thickness, it becomes difficult to continue working in this way. When the height of the masonry reaches about 6-0.8 meters, experts recommend switching to the stepwise method of masonry. This allows you to rely on the lower steps to lay the upper rows of the outer versts. So a bricklayer is much easier to work with.

You cannot violate the selected bricking sequence. If some kind of masonry method was chosen from the very beginning, then it must be adhered to until the work is completed. Failure to comply with this rule leads to masonry defects and reduces its strength: a built wall can crack, deform, deviate from the vertical. In the end, the structure will not last long.
