Also, holes at a similar distance are drilled in the floor. For work, you need to use a hammer drill.

Plastic dowels must be driven into the holes obtained in the floor covering. It is important not to use metal analogues that can subsequently deform the flexible sill. After installing the dowels in them you need to screw the screws.

Some modern manufacturers offer flexible sills with holes already prepared, which greatly simplifies the process of subsequent installation.

How not to install flexible sills?

It is strongly not recommended to reduce the distance between the holes in the floor and the threshold of a flexible type. If the dowels are installed closer than 10 cm to each other, the sill can bend and its surface may rise in waves.
