The initial task is to determine the boundaries of the abutment of the future wall with walls, ceiling and floor. An even line should be drawn on the floor, which will determine the borders of the wall, after which, using a plumb line, transfer the line to the ceiling. Now you need to connect the ceiling line to the floor line, drawing a line on the wall. Thus, a contour is obtained along which it will be necessary to fix the start profile.
Frame device
Having decided on the placement of the doorway, along the entire contour (except the opening), the starting profile is fixed, which will be the basis for the construction of the metal frame. The start profile is fastened with dowels, this is very important, because the integrity of the wall with the main walls will depend on this fastening.
It is very rare to use a one-sided wall - this is when facing with gypsum boards is made on one side of the wall. In this case, only one thread from the starting profile is fixed (on the floor, walls and ceiling), only this is rare. When the piers must be lined on both sides, for each side you will need to build a frame, and therefore you will have to mount and the second thread of the starting profile.
Now, in the resulting grooves from the profile on the floor and ceiling, insert pre-cut-by-height height wall CD-profiles. Profiles of one side of the wall fasten with profiles of the other side, this makes the wall much stronger. Do not forget about the doorway. At its location, the vertical profiles are arranged so that they serve as racks for installing the door frame.
Plate fixing
A gypsum plate is fixed to the frame, and the distance between the screws in the plate should be at least 20 cm. The plates are fixed so that all the edges of the drywall are located in the middle of the mounting profile. In the case when the drywall height is not enough, it is necessary to insert additional vertical profiles to which the upper edge of the plate will be fixed.
It should be noted that with proper fastening of the starting profiles, the piers will be made without tilt. Thus, the use of a level may be necessary only for verification purposes.
After the plates are completely fixed to the frame, all joints and recesses from the screws are putty. As a result, the wall is ready, it remains only to insert the door and decide how to wall the walls, paint or glue the wallpaper.
