In order not to get confused and not to make an erroneous choice in the confusion, you should determine the desired parameters of the lamp before buying. These requirements are formed from 2 parallel directions:

• Characteristics of the room in which the installation is planned. It is important to know the following parameters: area, ceiling height, level of natural light.
• Parameters of the desired lamp. Determine for yourself the power range, the method of attachment to the surface, the type of cap and the number of lamps.

What do we pay attention to in the store?

Knowing what technical and operational characteristics a device should have, choosing the right one in color and shape will be much easier. But here it is worth being careful. So, pay attention:

1. Shape and size - for a comfortable stay, there should be a distance of more than 2 meters from the floor to the chandelier. When choosing a lamp, be sure to consider its height. In addition, in spacious rooms, a small device will be visually lost, and a large one, on the contrary, will overload space.
2. Mounting type - there are only two options: on the hook or on the bar. It is better to decide on this at home, having examined the place of future fastening. Ceiling chandeliers are usually installed using a hook in the ceiling, but there are exceptions.
3. Power - for rooms in which there is no access to daylight, you will need lamps with a higher brightness the ability to adjust the level of light intensity by installing a regulator or the possibility of a group of lamps separately.
4. The type of light bulb and the type of base that is suitable for a chandelier. This should be taken care of before buying a chandelier, so that later it does not become clear that lamps for it can be purchased, for example, only in the European Union.
