The main causes of defects
In most situations, defects of concrete floors are understood as individual dents, delaminations, cracks, swellings, sinks. Illiteracy is the most common cause of damage. But, if the owner is sure that he fully complied with the recommended technology, you need to check the humidity level and temperature conditions. If there are temperature changes, humidity constantly jumps, concrete may deform.
Another reason is the effect of alkaline solutions. Alkali leads to dents, but this is rare in everyday life. And this is more typical of industrial premises.
What to do if defects appear
It is necessary to act depending on the nature of the damage. To eliminate dents, an appropriate volume of concrete mortar is used. The main problem is that new and old concrete are very reluctant to grapple with each other. Therefore, before applying the new composition will have to degrease the surface, at least twice having been treated with a primer on concrete. Only after this new material is poured.
In a similar way they get rid of cracks. But an injection method using a syringe or a construction gun is more suitable here, if possible.
