If the foam nevertheless gets on the skin, you should immediately act, because its prolonged exposure can cause irritation of the skin.

How to wash fresh construction foam from the skin

If the material has not yet had time to harden, it can be washed off using a special wash. Such solutions are sold in construction stores, and therefore it is recommended to purchase them together with construction foam. Most often, rinses are offered in the form of aerosols, which greatly simplifies their use and makes it more economical.

If there is no special tool at hand, you can use ordinary acetone or white spirit, used to dissolve the paint. You can also take a liquid to remove nail polish, but it should contain acetone.

Another alternative way to flush is to use ordinary vegetable oil. Before use, it must be heated to an average temperature.

You can also take table salt with large fractions. Its use is quite effective, however, it can lead to irritation of the skin.

How to wash dried foam

If the foam has dried, the use of solvents can be called impractical. Therefore, you do not even need to spend time and money on their acquisition and use.

The hardened material can be scraped off mechanically. To do this, you can use pumice, sandpaper with fine grain or a brush with hard bristles. Mechanical cleaning should be carried out as carefully as possible so as not to damage the skin. To reduce the likelihood of damage, you can grease it with oily cream or sunflower oil. At the end of the procedure, you need to thoroughly wash the skin area with warm water, gently dry it with a towel and apply a uniform layer of nourishing cream.

How to remove polyurethane foam from clothes

If the mounting foam gets on the fabric, you can try to remove it with the help of special solvents mentioned above. In this case, the solutions must be applied locally, because they can spoil the quality of the material and make the item unusable. For local application, you can use an ordinary cotton swab.
