How to apply silk plaster

Depending on what the final result the consumer wants, several methods of application can be distinguished. They differ slightly from each other.

The technology of applying smooth classic silk from such plaster:

1. Primed surface - several layers, allow to dry;
2. A base coat is applied - the use of a Venetian trowel, the formation of a small relief, drying for several hours;
3. A layer of wet silk is applied, you need to smooth it, while the direction is worth changing.

To get wet silk:

1. Primer

3. Next, thin silk is applied to liquid silk;
4. When using a special roller, small curls are made. In this case, it is worthwhile to slightly press the roller.

Harvested Silk:

1. Primed surface;
2. Base layer;
3. Arbitrary application of wet silk. In this case, a sponge is used, then after 15-25 minutes everything is smoothed with a spatula.

Depending on the thickness of the layer, lighting depends on how silk plaster will look on the surface.

It can be combined with wallpaper. At a price it is more expensive than other types of plaster. It is also worth remembering that it requires a careful attitude, since it has little wear resistance.
