In the kitchen, house plants are allowed subject to two rules:

2. Secondly, the flowers must be allocated a sufficiently lit and ventilated place outside the cooking zone so that they are not touched by a drop of fat, boiling water, steam, etc.

You should not place flower pots where children play, as well as in the access area of ​​animals. They can easily overturn objects in the apartment, in which case they become a source of danger to the child. It is good if the same cactus, for example, does not fall on the baby’s head, but sharp spikes can stick into his hands or other unprotected part of the body, which is very unpleasant.

As for pets: there is a high probability that, for one reason or another, a pet can harm a houseplant. For example, because of a lack of vitamins, cats and dogs often bite off leaves and parts of stems and eat them. Also, because of curiosity or because of bad manners, animals can tear the soil in a pot or gnaw a bud.

It is not recommended to place indoor plants on the battery, since the radiator is a source of hot and dry air, which adversely affects the condition of the flower.

The most common place for home plants is the windowsill. In this case, it is very important to avoid direct sunlight. Therefore, the southern window sill, on which there are no barriers to direct access to the sun, will be contraindicated.
