- Saves materials and money;
- Under the floor, you can mount communications and wiring;
- It creates excellent sound and heat insulation of the room;
- The load on the bearing floors is reduced;
- There is an opportunity to make multi-level ceilings;
- The wooden floor can be mounted on a different basis: brick, wood, concrete slabs;
- Using the laser level, the floor on the lags is made as even as possible;
- If necessary, the floor on the logs can be disassembled, and then reassembled without damaging the structural elements;
- The wooden floor is environmentally friendly, and the empty space under it allows the boards to "breathe";
- Installation of the floor is carried out in a few days with a minimum of dirty processes.
Since the floor on the logs is performed using various materials in layers, this work should also be done by a professional. It is important to mount and fix the boards correctly, otherwise after a certain time the floor will begin to crack and creak, which will then be difficult to fix.
Obviously, an adjustable floor will be much more profitable screed in almost all cases. The main thing that should be taken into account when choosing one or another design is room height, floor materials, installation labor costs.
