Therefore, it was believed that Americans cook only in the microwave.

About 25 years ago, microwave ovens in the life of Americans were very popular and found a place in every family. But already from the 2000s, the situation began to change not in favor of this household appliance. At first, the drop in sales was about 25%, after 4 years - 40%. And the last ten years, sales are almost zero. The situation is due to the satiation of the market and falling demand. Why buy a new appliance if the old one works perfectly?
But at the same time, the sale of grill stoves among Americans continues to grow, despite the fact that the market is also full of them, and no one seeks to replace appliances. Apparently, in the US, the popularity of microwaves simply fell, people stop using them. Many attribute this to the fact that Americans began to value quality and fresh food more.
Americans stop buying frozen dinners, for which they need a microwave. Healthy cooking appliances have become popular on the market: crock-pots, steamers, rice cookers and pans.
