The carpet cult in our country has been around for many years. Even in the time of Peter the Great, these products from the East began to appear in everyday life. Domestic carpet manufacturing factories were not long in coming. Carpets came to us from Europe, where in aristocratic houses they had by that time met frequently.

But at the same time, it was in Soviet times that the real mass worship of carpets began. This is largely due to the fact that in the sixties and seventies, Khrushchev began to be built with very thin walls. Carpets were the easiest way to protect yourself from the noise of neighbors. However, carpets in those days cost several monthly salaries, which is why they also acted as an indicator of prosperity, complementing themselves with a TV and crystal in the required furniture wall.

Carpets, of course, have certain advantages, but in modern interiors they are found less and less. Many factors immediately stop buying them. When planning the design and purchase of a carpet, it is worth remembering, for example, about those clouds of dust that rise during the knocking out of such products. Two to three kilograms of dust is collected in the carpet every year, even with regular cleaning. For this reason, it is not recommended to buy carpets for people who have trouble sleeping, breathing or are prone to allergies.

Alas, on average, a carpet contains four thousand more dirt than a toilet seat. Even the transitional street is inferior to him in the degree of pollution. Adults lose every hour several hundred keratinized particles of skin that fall precisely into the carpets. For several years, such a coating can collect in itself the whole person.

Carpets are also able to create a fertile environment for parasites. They often live many different microorganisms and insects. You can find almost anything in the carpet, as research shows.

Coatings can become a source of pneumonia, Escherichia coli and many diseases. If the carpet is treated with chemicals, there is another danger, because the product becomes toxic.

In case of fire, carpets can create maximum danger. Poisonous smoke begins to come from synthetics, natural materials instantly turn into a fiery surface, which will be impossible to pass through.

As the last argument against, we can cite the ability of carpets to absorb a wide variety of odors. Even air fresheners, chemicals and constant care are sometimes not able to completely eliminate all that the carpet has managed to incorporate.
