Glue must be applied to the place where there is a joint. As for the laminated board, then on the one hand it has a spike, and on the other a groove. The boards are connected on the floor and it is necessary to lay them so that the tenon firmly fits into the groove.

In the end, you can get a solid joint if you still do with glue. If we talk about another option, then glue is not needed. Perhaps you bought boards with this type of fastening at the junction, then there may be a special addition to the element, due to which there is a latch of one board to another. Any manufacturer always divides the product according to strength characteristics.

What to choose parquet or laminate flooring?

If you buy a laminate, then you need to know where you will lay it. As a rule, a simple laminate is used in an office room, which has a flat surface. If in this case you buy a laminate, where there is a relief, then the coating can quickly fail, since there are usually a lot of people in office rooms and there is a lot of traffic. In this case, all this can spoil the appearance of the products and lead to moisture getting into the fiberboard through the open pores. The laminate will warp and will have to change it.

Any type of product should have good strength. For the house, you can use any laminate, everything here depends on the color and type of surface that you like.

As for parquet, with a large cross-country, the varnish layer is erased. Laminate is stronger, since in the parquet a layer of varnish never provides the necessary level of protection. Laminate can be assembled quickly and you do not need to be a master to make your own coating.
