Jigsaw is a common tool among those involved in carpentry and among home craftsmen. To work with him does not bring trouble, you must follow some rules. Often, beginners make gross mistakes in the operation of a jigsaw, what are they?

Why is the curve line cut
If the master just recently picked up the tool and is just starting to work, then most often the saw lines are crooked, as you need to gain experience. The first mistake is the insufficient fixation of the material that is being sawn. If you ignore this point, the base will constantly shift, and the cut line will leave its original path. Also, the curve work is obtained when the material is fixed inconveniently for the master.
The cut quality of beginners can be improved by using guides or special patterns when cutting complex shapes. If the use of additional elements is not possible, a more accurate cut is achieved by reducing the speed.

Also, beginners often put too much pressure on the jigsaw, which ultimately leads to a crooked cut. In addition, this is possible with a malfunction of the tool or improper selection of the base. If the blade is not suitable, the file may go sideways or form a chip.

Other errors:
- The file may break due to strong pressure on the jigsaw during operation;
- Steel should not be cut with low-power tools, since in this state it is not malleable, and the file can be easily damaged. For such work, tools of maximum power are chosen, and the cut is carried out at high speed;
- Beginners when working with laminate, plexiglass, stainless steel or plastic make a gross mistake: they do not interrupt work, which leads to overheating of the tool. It is fraught with breaking it or a file;
- The plastic from the influence of a jigsaw begins to melt if you set too high revolutions on the tool. Their number should not exceed 1000 per minute;
- Often, beginners can not choose the right file for a certain type of cut. So, for example, it will be a gross mistake for a figured cut to take a file with large teeth;
- Some after work do not clean and do not put the tool back in place, and then reuse it. Such handling may lead to blockage of internal mechanisms and damage.
