Installation of corrugated board is carried out according to the following technology.
Almost any roof is suitable for its installation, the main thing is to adhere to the rule: rafters are stacked at a distance of 60-90 cm from each other.
It is possible that the roof does not allow to keep within the framework established by the rule. Do not be upset, in this case, you can personally install corrugated board. This will make the roof more durable (because the thickness of the boards of the crate will be more). The length of the slope can be either longer than the length of the sheets, or less. In the first case, no difficulties arise: the sheets are attached alternately. In the second, it is necessary to proceed with installation strictly from the bottom edge of the roof.
Conditions, compliance with which, will create ventilation of the roof.
When installing, you need to fasten the corrugated board together. This should be done correctly:
- The sheets are fastened to each other with special rivets for the roof.
- Bonded sheets are attached to the roof by means of roofing screws. They can be purchased in various colors to comply with the color scheme. Sold in specialized stores. If they were not available, you can use screws with a hex head, which includes a washer of various materials, whether rubber or plastic. When using screws, it is necessary to drill holes in the corrugated board with a diameter greater than 0.2-0.6 mm.
Installation of corrugated sheets is carried out strictly by means of the materials described above (nails, even large sizes, will not work). The bottom line is that the nail does not have a thread and fastening it will be much worse (with a strong wind, the roof will fly off corny). Not a big secret: the screws are screwed at an angle of 90 degrees (vertically) so that there are no gaps and the roof does not allow moisture to pass through.
The fastening of the sheets is carried out in the recesses formed in the crate. One m2 attached from 8-10 sides. Observe equal spacing between fasteners. The corrugated board is attached to the crate mainly through the wave, with the exception of the beginning and end (due to the increased power load, each wave is attached).
