The mechanical way to eliminate the defect

You need to take a small piece of cork identical in its aesthetics to the main material (subject restoration), clerical sharp knife cut the top decorative layer the size of tan (square forms). Accordingly, the tan must also be cut out (this method is suitable if the defect is small), install a new decorative element in its place. Sometimes, if spots or the same tan marks that cannot be removed with detergents appear on the surface, sandpaper is used. In fact, the tan must be cleaned mechanically, trying to remove the defect. In this case, use fine sandpaper. After cleaning, the varnish for tinting is selected. It is advisable to apply it in 3 layers so that the defect is completely closed, there would be no trace of it.
