Carpets can be made of various materials, have different styles and colors. Some of them are complex and full of glamor, others are simple and modest. Not only design is important, but also the quality of the material the carpet is made of.

Silk rugs are perhaps the most luxurious. After all, silk is a soft, antistatic fabric, light and shiny.

Importantly, it does not lose color and remains resistant to dirt. Silk is commonly used for weaving oriental carpets.

Woolen - due to its structure, it is the most durable among carpets. In addition, they are easy to maintain, retain resistance to deformation, and are surprising in their softness. However, unfortunately, they have a serious minus - they can be harmful to allergy sufferers.

Cotton carpets are like woolen, soft and pleasant. However, they are usually much thinner, which makes them not so durable. A cotton carpet does not lose its colors, but it wears out much faster than other materials. An important advantage of such carpets is their high antistatic performance.

Polypropylene carpets are 100% synthetic. They undergo a special treatment, due to which they become soft.

Viscose carpets - created by processing pulp. They are quite light, but at the same time durable, resistant to dirt and mechanical damage. Viscose does not wear out, so such a carpet can serve for many years. Unfortunately, the material gives the impression of being “slippery,” so it cannot be compared in softness to wool or silk.

Jute rugs are ideal for environmentalists. Such carpets will add naturalness to every interior. The material is resistant to pollution, so the carpet can also be placed on the floor in the hall or in the kitchen.

Jute carpets go well with wood, weave or stone.

Bamboo carpets are also resistant to dirt, therefore, like jute rugs, they are suitable for rooms where people walk a lot - in the kitchen or in the hallway. Moisture does not harm them, they are not exposed to mold. For the same reasons, bamboo rugs are used with great success in organizing gazebos and gardens.

Acrylic carpets are a great solution for allergy sufferers. Ideal for children's rooms and offices. Due to its hypoallergenic properties, acrylic has gained immense popularity and today is the main material from which carpets are made around the world.

In the past, carpets were a determining factor in luxury. Today they are just warm interior elements. They can be found in every room.
