Bright glossy kitchen with MDF facades and TV

We live in a panel house. The area is small and this was especially depressing after I compared my apartment with the housing of a relative living in a new building. When we decided to renovate, we turned to the designer with the main wish - to make the kitchen visually appear larger. Its cost was 189 thousand. rubles, but the result is impressive - with the help of simple techniques, the room now looks more spacious.

In our case, it can be argued that all ingenious is simple. The kitchen is a lacquered MDF fronts from the Alternative company. We chose a high gloss plastic for its gloss and smoothness. Modern UV varnish coatings are easy to maintain, and stains and dirt literally evaporate from the surface thanks to a special topcoat.

In addition, the shades of Stitch (Latte and Mocha) look very cool in a glossy version. Stitch means small, subtle strokes in a chaotic manner. Mocha at the bottom and Latte at the top are a time-honored classic. We also have a bit of wallpaper with a tint of dark coffee.

Mirrored surfaces further expand the space and reflect light, which was not at all superfluous for our small kitchen.

The upper tier consists of two rows of lockers. Blum fittings have been used throughout the kitchen: door closers, clamps, pull-out systems.

And even between the main cabinets, there was room for a small field organizer.

I've always loved decorating the walls with paintings. Such a design element cannot be called a novelty, but at the same time it never loses its relevance. A painting on a white background made the room larger, which is not at all superfluous for a 6.5 m2 kitchen. Thanks to the photo-printed glass apron, it is immediately clear which place in the kitchen is the central one. We ordered two identical pagodas (saving a little) and an additional pattern in the form of a blurred copse. Skinali stretches across the kitchen. In this way, we have protected both the washing surface and the hob.

Not only for me, but for all family members, the picture has a pacifying effect. This is probably because the image has incredibly positive energy. Despite the fact that the effect of novelty is no longer there, you still want to examine the smallest details, especially when you are relaxing, drinking tea and you do not need to rush anywhere.

The mirrored surfaces of the apron complement the furniture gloss. And especially in the morning hours, when there is an excess of sunlight, the abundance of "bunnies" on the surfaces makes the atmosphere summer and warm. Drawings are reflected in glossy facades, creating a kind of stereo effect. And if a bright light is not needed, then with one movement of a dark curtain, the kitchen stops glare.

We thought for a long time where to place the TV. Above the door we have a beautiful clock, which you cannot do without. And it is inconvenient to constantly bully your head (even while sitting at the table), and placing the screen at eye level is harmful. We decided to hang it on brackets under the top cabinets. This turned out to be a good option, since it turns out to watch TV not only from the table, but also while washing the dishes.

The question of whether or not to buy a built-in socket was quickly decided. It is inconvenient to pull the cords from below, and it would be blasphemy to spoil the glass apron. An empty and uncluttered countertop has always been a dream of mine. We also have a nice pantry where you can put away your multicooker, food processor, and other things you don't often use. Therefore, the flush-mounted socket block for 2 cords, which is also completely hidden in the countertop, turned out to be very useful in the overall design of the kitchen.

We built the hood into the upper cabinet. The fact that it is there is indicated only by a small panel above the hob.

But we put the microwave on the open shelf next to it, since we decided not to bother buying a new one.

The artificial stone countertop with integrated sink has no seams. At the same time, the design looks quite stylish and it would not have been possible to choose the color so perfectly otherwise. Another advantage of artificial stone is that there are no joints along the entire tabletop. This means - dirt and grease at the joints.

Our kitchen turned out to be, if I may say so, “festive”. Light, mirrored, spacious - you want to be in it as much time as possible. And this is how not only my family and I feel, but also visiting guests.
