Kitchen-living room with lacquered facades in retro style

When it was decided to make the renovation, the furniture purchased back in the 70s of the past century was in perfect condition. Therefore, they decided to give her a new life in a renewed interior. A lot of objects were subject to replacement: floors, ceramic wall tiles, all plumbing. In addition, redevelopment was carried out for the convenience of using the space of the apartment. The purpose of the redevelopment was to combine the kitchen with the living room to visually increase the total area. The space that was previously occupied by the wall now has a functional meaning - the dining area, where there is a book-table and bright Italian-made chairs.

Very well, instead of the former entrance to the kitchen, a place for a refrigerator was equipped. The kitchen set is new, but kept in

retro style. Bright spots in the overall picture of the interior are a red refrigerator and yellow Italian chairs.

The kitchen is made to order. In order for it to look harmoniously with the Soviet-era table-book, it was decided to decorate the facades with a red-brown lacquered veneer sheet. The kitchen itself is quite modern. It contains built-in appliances: dishwasher, range hood and gas stove.

The retro-style slab looks great in the overall composition. Its white color is reminiscent of the freestanding gas stoves that were used in all Soviet-era kitchens.

The yellow clock, preserved in perfect condition, perfectly matches the color of the chairs.

In general, a spacious kitchen was vouched for by combining the rooms. The advantage is the presence of a window, due to which the room is saturated with natural light. Above the table is chandelier. There are also spotlights on the ceiling in order to well illuminate the entire space of the resulting kitchen-living room.

This photo shows a general view of the apartment from the side of the dining table. The color of the refrigerator was not chosen by chance: it is in perfect harmony with the carpet and lampshade of the floor lamp located in the living room.
