The room is located in the north of the apartment - the news about this brought two feelings. There were thoughts that the kitchen would have little light, but the priority was to arrange a delicate and warm interior in the kitchen.
The desired color was known even before the layout and the rest were settled. When the owner explained to her family what color she preferred, everyone around them thought that the room is planned in white, but it seemed too sterile, so it was decided to make placement in beige.
Color is such a thing on which almost everything depends. He even pushes for the preparation of new dishes, is basic for the kitchen, but after weighing all the pros and cons, it became clear that the beige color needs to be diluted with some other color.
At the moment, brown does an excellent job with this task, because it was decided to choose it as an additional one. The legs of the chairs, part of the wall between the table top and the upper wall cabinets, baseboards, part of the wall next to the door and a plasterboard structure on the ceiling are made in chocolate color. They decided to do brown only in details, since it is associated with chocolate, which is better to eat a little at a time.
The atmosphere of the room is very warm and cozy, perfect for family gatherings, tea drinking, cooking and reception, for evenings with guests. A nice bonus is a great view from the window, which you can enjoy sitting at the table.
There are very comfortable chairs near the window, which are useful not only during breakfast, lunch and dinner, because, sitting on them, you can calmly wait until food is cooked in the oven, have a cup of coffee or tea, or prepare small meals such as salads or sandwiches. Initially, it was planned to install a sink by the window, but at the moment there is no doubt that a table-bar counter is the best solution, absolutely not, since this thing is endlessly pleasing with its functionality.
A niche with light sources perfectly camouflages the upper part of Roman curtains, which was very important for the hostess, who does not really like when the beginning of curtains or tulle is visible. The curtain itself, chosen for this interior, also brings its own piece of comfort and functionality to the atmosphere of the kitchen.
In the same place where the beginning of the Roman shade is hidden, there is an additional cornice, which is installed in case the owners want to change. This solution is very versatile. The curtain chosen for the kitchen is liked not only by its owners, but also by their friends, who, looking at how well it fits into the interior, acquire the same ones.
The height of the apartment - the 8th floor is good because the windows do not need to be closed with dense material. There are no houses opposite the windows, so there is no need to hide.
The interior of the kitchen is done in warm minimalism, although some may notice something of their high-tech. The owner did the interior design independently. Hanging top cabinets were made to reach the ceiling. This decision was made because, firstly, it will add more storage space, and, secondly, such cabinets look aesthetically pleasing and beautiful.
Glossy Painted Medium Density Fiberboard was selected as material kitchen unit, and tiles (10 × 10) - for the part of the wall between the countertop and the upper hinged lockers. The apron is interesting for the play of textures - glossy and matte tiles, on which fugue seams play with a contrast of brown color, and with them - beige light. The apron is easy to maintain, but it is very important to find the right product to clean it.
They decided to make the ceiling mirrored stretch, and its colors correspond to the chosen colors for the kitchen.
It was planned to make the hood classic, which would have good draft, which could only be arranged with the option with direct supply of the corrugated pipe into the ventilation duct.
I didn’t want to place the hood structure on hanging cabinets, on the ceiling - this is also not an option, since in this case there can be no question of any aesthetics. The result of a family meeting about this was the decision to close the pipe using a plasterboard structure with light sources and a stretch ceiling.
The choice of technology was a matter of principle and became a huge problem for the owners of this kitchen. The color of the equipment came across either black or metallic, which does not fit into the general atmosphere of the room.
The hood, oven and hob of the desired color from the Italian company had to be purchased abroad. Everything is built in, and quite a long time of use proves the correctness of the solution.
One of the main things in the kitchen is Dishwasher, without which this kitchen was not left. Built-in is also chosen. They chose it without taking into account additional functions, such as backlighting, etc., the brand and spaciousness became the main criterion for choosing a dishwasher. Operation made it clear that this decision is as correct as the choice of foreign technology.
The secret for the convenience of working with the oven is that it needs to be raised above the worktop. With this arrangement, there will be no need to bend over to check the readiness of the dish.
The location of the oven is also very convenient, and the oven is almost always used. The bar stool next to it makes the waiting process even more comfortable. A window next to the work area helps to remove odors, so you don't have to turn on the hood frequently.
To show your good taste, it is recommended not to distinguish the refrigerator from the colors of the rest of the kitchen set. The refrigerator of this kitchen is located in the corner and fits perfectly into the interior.
The microwave oven turned out to be no worse than the rest of the equipment, meeting all the criteria: color, shape, functionality. The TV and its stand are all white. Already purchased but not installed yet.
The appliances and furniture of the eating area are the same color as the walls of the room. The walls are smooth, have no decor, which contributes to their lightness and weightlessness, they do not burden the interior.
Such walls give an atmosphere of comfort and warmth. The priority is to buy a large clock that matches the color of the wall. The search is already being carried out, but so far there has been no success.
The table and chairs are made of solid and ecological leather. Round or oval table was obligatory, because this shape brings family members even closer, due to the absence of corners.
One of the advantages of the table is the ability to unfold and push it into the center of the room, which allows you to increase the number of seats and calmly receive guests.
Another source of comfort, and also a source of light, is a lamp placed above the dining table.
