Repair in a one-room apartment usually rarely involves serious material investments, since the owners very often they expect that over time they will acquire a living space that is large in size and number of rooms. In this case, various flaws can be considered the norm.

The original look of the kitchen was as follows:

Further in the photo you can see how the room has changed. Only one impartial little thing catches the eye - a bright green mop hidden behind a cabinet against the wall.

The contrast of what came before and what happened in the end is colossal! This makes the result even more valuable. The floor was a "multi-layer cake" of several layers of linoleum of different times, between which one could contemplate an unfavorable picture in the form of insect remains and other dirt. The top layer was a casually carved piece of carpet. The ceiling was tiled, but now it is made of plasterboard.

The kitchen is corner and on both sides on the walls in the working area there are roof rails with brushed nickel shelves that match well the material of which the chandelier and handles on the kitchen set are made.

The cabinet with open shelves is not yet full. It is planned to place some decorative elements of the kitchen theme here.

Below is a photo of cabinets with open doors. The location of some items will probably change, but already now you can see how spacious the wall cabinets turned out to be.

Some of the wall cabinets are still empty. These are 80- and 30-centimeter structures, in which even new built-in appliances can be placed.

Drying plates and other dishes are traditionally located at the top; its use seems familiar and convenient.

This includes: tray, separate glass strip, plate and glass holders.

Under the sink, like everyone else, there is a trash can. But it does not just stand in the cabinet, but is installed on a special pull-out structure from IKEA, which turned out to be very convenient to use. You can pull out the trash bin while cooking, peel vegetables, fish, eggs and other products over it, push it back with a light movement of your hand. This design is especially convenient for large buckets.

Below, next to this structure, there is a corner shelf where household chemicals are stored.

Along the smaller wall at the bottom of the kitchen unit is installed built-in appliances: washing machine and dishwasher.

The top corner cabinet provides space for tea, coffee and some utensils.

The photo below shows the open drawers. It should be noted that the lower part of the kitchen does not have wardrobes with hinged doors at all. Retractable structures have proven to be much more convenient to use.

Here you can see a handy wooden cutlery tray purchased from IKEA. It has all the necessary compartments for forks, spoons, bottle openers and other auxiliary items that no housewife can do without. The compartments are wide enough, so there is an opportunity to purchase plastic dividers and then expand them in an even more convenient way.

Also, in one of the drawers, spices are stored in jars, in the other - a mixer, tablecloths. By the way, this drawer is quite roomy, and a blender and a multicooker can easily enter it.

There are two drawers under the hob, one of which is still empty, and the other contains cereals and other bulk.

Further, a 30-centimeter drawer with three tiers. This solution turned out to be very convenient to use. On the lower tier, bottles with vegetable oil, sealed transparent jars of cereals are stored, and on small tiers are graters, wooden sticks, packages - in a word, everything that is usually stored in the kitchen in drawers.

Above the oven is a large, beautiful service for 12 persons. There are also deep salad bowls and other rare-use dishes. Pots, pans, bowls, microwave dishes and other bulky items are stored under the oven.

There is also a drawer under the refrigerator. Here are flat items of kitchen utensils such as trays and baking sheets.

The renovation in the kitchen, carried out taking into account the needs of the hostess, is always distinguished by convenient functionality and pleasing to the eye.
