Newly made owners of a two-room apartment first of all try to take on repairs. The hostess's cherished dream is to create a cozy and functional kitchen, where it is convenient to prepare food and hold family dinners and Sunday lunches. The room, 12 squares in size, was designed according to a project based on the ideas of the homeowners. This is not a professional design, but, despite the first experience, the interior in white and brown-beige looks very dignified.
The kitchen area is small, so the decision to combine it with the loggia turned out to be in place. For this, the balcony door and window were dismantled. Only part of the wall on the left side remains, which is used as a table.
Along with the removal of the wall, the floor was screed under the tiles, the walls were leveled, and the electrical wiring was replaced. The wires were successfully laid under the ceiling, they are hidden by a hinged structure made of plasterboard. There is also a hidden plastic box in which the ventilation pipe runs.
The retracted kitchen door allowed to increase the usable area. This absolutely does not interfere with the rest of those living in the apartment, since there is a high-quality hood, and the smell from cooking food does not spread to other areas.
Preparatory work included the installation of plumbing, sink and dishwasher drains. The plan was to purchase a gas oven, so they did not make a separate automatic machine for the oven.
After the completion of the preparatory work, it was time to choose materials for finishing the surfaces of the ceiling, walls, floors, and think about the overall design of the kitchen. The choice was made on a color scheme close to natural.
Main background beige, the wallpaper has a barely noticeable pattern that does not attract attention.
The floor is paved with gray tiles that look like aged wood. The surface is rough to the touch. This is convenient because the tiles are not slippery.
Against the general background, the grayish postforming tabletop looks very harmonious. The window sill remaining after dismantling is finished in the same way. It contains a vase of flowers. The apron is made of Spanish tiles.
The fronts of the headset are made of brown plastic, this material is easy to clean and practical. The built-in refrigerator is located by the window.
The facade has been completed between the refrigerator and the wall. It allows you to hide the pipes and the gas meter. Initially, this moment was not thought out by the architects, but the kitchen project made it possible to foresee how to get rid of such a lack of planning.
The work apron is made in beige, the material is selected with horizontal stripes. It goes well with the brown-emerald facades of the headset. The color is simply striking in its depth.
The doors of the kitchen set have hinges with closers, drawers are equipped with similar designs. The upper doors have a lifting mechanism, the system allows them to be easily lifted up and folded under the ceiling.
The kitchen is equipped with a large dishwasher, a gas oven with an interesting design. The hob repeats the style of the oven. The microwave is located in a special niche. The necessary household appliances are placed on the working surface, which should always be at hand - a coffee machine, a multicooker, a food processor.
The sink is made of artificial stone, a modern mixer with a high spout is installed. A water filter with a 4-stage cleaning system is installed on the pipe under the sink.
The dining area is harmoniously arranged. It includes a brown oval table and four chairs.
The wall next to the dining area is decorated with photo frames and a clock. The opening to the living room is filled with handmade stained glass. This striking accent attracts attention, adding original details and colors to the interior.
A chandelier of unusual design called "Molecule" looks very peculiar.
The renovation of the kitchen was not cheap. A significant part of the capital was spent on the purchase of household appliances and furniture. All interior details are carefully thought out, right down to the unusual decor. All household appliances are at hand, which is very convenient when cooking.
The result is worthy of attention. Cozy and comfortable atmosphere of the dining area, beautifully served table contribute to a pleasant pastime for family dinners or for warm gatherings with friends!
