Electrolux heater, principle of operation, purpose

Electric heater Electrolux is a convective-type household appliance for heating any type of room, up to 40 square meters.

This and similar heaters work as follows:

Convection always occurs in the room - the movement of air due to the temperature difference. At the bottom is cold air, it is heavier. At the bottom of the heater there are air intake holes through which cold air enters the heater. It has a heating element inside that heats up when electricity passes through it. The air blows over this element, taking heat from it, and exits through the air outlets back into the room.

Before using the device:

Remove the device from the box and remove the film from it. The film is pasted on the front panel/front side. Check that the heater is turned off. If desired, you can wipe the device with a dry cloth.

When you first turn on the heater, you may notice an unpleasant smell - this is the smell of burnt dust. The equipment sits on the store shelves for a long time before it is bought, so dust accumulates on it. When the appliance is switched on, the dust on its surface overheats and burns. The unpleasant smell that has appeared will soon disappear. If it smells burnt for a long time, the equipment may be defective. In this case, unplug the device from the socket, inspect for damage, but do not open the device yourself, if you do not want to void the warranty. If you find any damage or smell remains after turning it on again, contact the service center.

It is not recommended to connect the appliance to the same socket with other/their powerful appliances. The outlet may not be able to handle this (too much current). It will burn out and short circuit.

Using the heater

Insert the plug from the appliance into the mains socket. The power supply must comply with the technical specifications. Immediately after that, the device will make a loud sound - this means that the device is turned on. The indicator on the control panel will turn blue / blue - the heater is in standby mode (it does not heat the room, it is waiting for the user's command).

Press the on / off button of the equipment and the device will enter the heating mode. The LED display will show the room temperature.

Working mode

Select an operating mode. There are two of them - half and full power. To select, press the on/off button. The display will then show HI or LO. The first value - the device operates at full capacity, the second - at half. You can switch them using the button to the left of the start button.

To set the temperature, double-click the device's start button. The heating temperature will appear on the screen. Use the bottom buttons to adjust it. One press - the heating temperature will increase / decrease by 1 degree Celsius. If you hold down the temperature increase/decrease button, the value will increase/decrease without stopping until it reaches the limit. The maximum value is 30 degrees Celsius, the minimum is 5. To save the changes, do nothing - after 5 seconds of inactivity, the device will return to the operating mode, and the display will show the air temperature in the room.

How to turn on the timer on the Electrolux heater

To turn on the timer, press the on/off button three times. The display will show the time after which the appliance will turn off. The shutdown time is measured in hours. Initially, by factory settings, there will be 0. To adjust the shutdown time, use the temperature adjustment buttons below the start and mode buttons. Again, if you hold down one of these buttons, the time before shutdown will continuously increase or decrease. When you choose the time for self-switching off, leave the device alone. After 5 seconds of inactivity, the settings will be saved, the device will switch to heating mode, the timer will start counting down, the corresponding indicator will light up. When the time is up, the device will automatically turn off - it will go into standby mode (the heating will turn off, the blue indicator will light).

Shutdown

To turn off the Electrolux heater, you need to hold the power button for 3 seconds. Regardless of the operating mode, the heater will go into standby mode. Then remove the plug from the socket.
