How to fold a Christmas tree
First of all, you need to remove all the ornaments from it. The glittering tinsel, golden and silver threads of the rain are neatly placed in separate bags, toys, and garlands - in special boxes. Moreover, if you have toys made of glass, they need to be laid very carefully, shifting them with paper or a soft cloth.
When the tree was completely freed from toys and decorations, it was the turn to dismantle it. Almost all modern models are equipped with a single core-frame, which is fixed in the frame, and already attached to it of various sizes of branches.
In order to avoid difficulties in the subsequent assembling of a Christmas tree, the branches of the same size are best put together in one package. We take out the branches from the holes in which they are fixed, and fold them in a single direction. So that the branches folded in the package do not fall apart, fasten them with a rope, but do not overtighten them too tight so as not to damage them.
Next, disassemble the frame and put all its parts in a box. Packages with branches laid on top. Some people advise keeping the Christmas tree in a plastic box to protect it from moisture, but a cardboard box will do. After all, firstly, the tree will be stored in the apartment, and secondly, high humidity will not be able to damage the artificial Christmas tree.
How to choose a storage space for
You can store a box with a disassembled Christmas tree anywhere, it all depends on where you have free space and where the box will not disturb anyone. The only recommendation is that you should not place the box directly near batteries or other heating devices: a high temperature plastic tree is not needed.
On the other hand, only fire is terrible for plastic, and if the tree was stored incorrectly, it can only cause the branches to be wrinkled, and during the next assembly they will have to be fluffed beforehand.
When buying a Christmas tree, it should be borne in mind that its size directly affects the way it is stored, that is, the larger the tree, the more space will be needed to store it.The average lifespan of an artificial tree is from 5 to 10 years. It depends on the quality of the plastic, the manufacturer and, to some extent, on proper storage. In order for the Christmas tree to bring joy to you and your loved ones as long as possible, you need to keep it carefully and care for it.
If you can’t imagine the New Year without the smell of needles, you can use pine flavor, air freshener or just put a few spruce, fir or pine branches in a vase.
