    Rules for planting a cute flower

    Considering the most popular varieties of carnations, you can see that this flower is widely used to decorate summer cottages. But, despite the sophistication of the cultivated species of this plant, wild varieties are valued no less. Among them are carnation travyanka and garden carnation. Growing these varieties in the garden in the country, you can make in your mini landscape notes of pristine nature.

    Planting and care of a perennial carnation of grass, the photo of which helps to see it in all its glory, includes the following works:

    • sowing seeds;
    • grafting method;
    • timely watering:
    • top dressing of the soil.

    Before sowing wild clove seeds, it is important to prepare the soil. To do this, it is disinfected with special means in order to kill possible pests in it. Then, add sand to the ground, mix and fill small containers. After that, you can sow a grass Carnation. Keep pots better in a warm room at a temperature not lower than 16 degrees. When the sprouts rise and get stronger, they are planted in a permanent place of the dacha landscape.

    Soil preparation and sowing of seeds begin in early May. Thanks to this, the seedlings will be ready for summer, when the threat of frost is reduced to a minimum.

    Planting a carnation of a grass with the cutting method involves the following techniques:

    • grafting;
    • reproduction using layering;
    • division bushes.

    The cuttings begin to be carried out at the beginning of summer, selecting suitable plants. They should be up to 10 cm long. At an angle, make a cut, remove the lower leaf plates and place the cutting in a container with the ground. After heavy irrigation, the container is covered with a film or agrofibre. When the seedling is strengthened, it is planted on the site.

    The method of planting carnations with grass using cuttings is not often used, because it requires very long plant stems. If any, an incision is made at the interstitial site and is buried with soil. As a result, abundantly watering at the layers will grow roots. Now it can be dug and planted in a new plot.

    The division of the grass carnation bush is perhaps the best option for planting. This method is quite simple: a part of the bush is split off and landed on new territory. Abundant watering and cloves are already growing in the front garden.

    In order for the plant to bloom in the first year of transplantation, the process of dividing the bushes is best done in the second decade of March.

    Since the carnation is a grass, the plant is unpretentious, it is enough to ensure timely watering and regular top dressing of the soil. The main condition is to control the humidity so that the roots of the cloves do not rot.

    The planting and care of the perennial garden carnation is carried out in a similar way. To plant flowered as long as possible at the dacha, it is better to plant in sunny places. Timely dressing and regular watering will provide the plant with comfortable prosperity for the whole season. In addition, it is desirable to remove the flowering buds from the shoots to enable the plant to take root. In winter, garden carnations are covered, especially if there is little snow in the region.

    Then a red carnation, a symbol of kindness and true love, will always thrive in a country house in landscape design.
