Reproduction with a green fieldcommon and effective way of reproduction. There are several types of it, which will be described later in the article. Reproduction using green cuttings
This type of reproduction is excellent for introducing into the production of rare grape varieties, because the planting material used parts of the plant that are removed in the process of breaking off green shoots. This should be done in late spring, early summer in the evening. During the process, the best of them are selected for grafting. Shoots put in a bucket, sprayed with water and covered with a damp cloth. Then placed in the basement at night.
Grapes Cuttings
For breeding grapes with green cuttings, you must first prepare a box half a meter deep, which is covered with a film or glass.
The bottom of the box is covered with a ten-centimeter layer of fertile soil. About five centimeters of pure sand is poured on top. Then they pour it with plenty of water. If there are many seedlings, then a greenhouse is used for their reproduction.
cutting pattern for cutting The cuttings used for breeding should be taken only from the lower or middle part of the vine. If you take them from the top, they will rot.
Further, these broken off parts are cut into cuttings with two leaves. Moreover, the bottom sheet is cut off completely, and at the top only half is cut off. Pruning cutting should be done as follows: the lower cut should be immediately below the lower node, and above the top should be a section of the vine length from 1 to 1.5 centimeters.

After pruning, the cuttings are placed as quickly as possible in water, and then planted in the sand to a depth of 3 centimeters and at a distance of 10 centimeters from each other. Seated cuttings are sprayed with water and cover the box with film or glass, if the seating is carried out not in the greenhouse. After that, they must be sprayed with a spray or with a small sieve 4-5 times a day. Water is used with a temperature ranging from 20 ° C to 25 ° C.After 12 days, the root of the root system will appear at the bottom of the cuttings. After that, the number of sprays is reduced to three per day.
Growing cuttings in the greenhouse
After a month, when the root system is almost fully formed, you can begin to harden the cuttings. To do this, for several days in the evening, open a box or greenhouse for 10-15 minutes, gradually increasing the time until it can be left open throughout the day.
If in the future the cuttings are not left in the greenhouse, but landed in a school or already at a permanent place of growth, then this should be done according to the scheme of 10x5 centimeters. In the future, care for cuttings takes place in the normal mode.

The technology of accelerated reproduction of grapes from shortened cuttings
Reproduction of grapes, shortened, allows you to introduce into production new fruit varieties of sweet berries. First you need to prepare a well-matured vine length from 1 to 1.5 meters with healthy eyes. Cut the cuttings two days before planting. From a 1.2-meter-long vine, seven shortened cuttings should come out. The length of each of them is about 16 cm. The diameter of strong-growing grape varieties is from 7 to 12 mm, and in middle-growing grapes - from 5 to 9 mm.
At the stage of selection and preparation of the most appropriate cuttings, stratification will be the most optimal solution. Planting material is first soaked for two days. Then put it in plastic bags and placed in a cool dark place. Every five days it is necessary to moisten them with water so as to in no way prevent drying. The stratification stage in this case will take two weeks.
Planting grapes shortened by cuttings is carried out according to the scheme:
- Site preparation and fertilization;
- Breakdown of seats. With the help of twine in the greenhouse make the central band( width 130 cm) and side( 160 cm).Between the stripes, you must leave a distance of about half a meter. These will be tracks. Then with the help of a special template make markup. The distance between the cuttings in the same row is 10 cm, and between the rows of 30 cm;
- Landing landing material. Plant the plant vertically( slight slope allowed).Immerse the cutting in the ground to the upper peephole.
- After planting, all the cuttings are well watered.
Special attention should be paid to watering. Good water supply will help accelerate the growth of shoots and will contribute to the formation of high-grade seedlings.
Preparing and planting lignified cuttings
Perhaps every gardener knows how to propagate grapes with woody cuttings. On the preparation of the material will have to take care of in the fall. The ideal planting material is the middle part of the fruit arrow or the shoot, cut into a replacement knot. Preparation of cuttings is as follows:
- From the branch, all stepchildren, leaves, antennae, shoots and underexposed tops are removed.
- Cutting of cuttings occurs, each must contain four buds.
- Blanks are sorted by grade.
- The beams thus obtained are soaked for 24 hours in pure water.
- After a day, the cuttings should be etched with a 5% copper sulphate and dried.
- Bundles are wrapped in plastic bags and stored in a cellar.
A few weeks before planting in plastic glasses or bottles it is necessary to check the freshness of the cuttings. At this stage, rotten and dried cuttings are sifted out.
For the germination of planting material, large plastic cups are best suited, in the bottom of which you need to make three holes with an awl. Then the glass is filled with a mixture of earth, sand and humus. Watering seedlings must be warm water every two days.
