- sciarides - the so-called mushroom mosquitoes;
- whitefly - they look like very small butterflies with two white wings.
Drosophila in nature are ubiquitous, they feed on plant sap, decomposed plant residues. Fruit flies have a short life cycle and extraordinary fecundity.

How flies get into
flower pots These blackflies can lead in a pot in different ways:
- can end up in purchased or garden soil that has been poorly disinfected;
- fly through an open window in the summer and lay eggs in the damp earth of a flowerpot;
- get together with vegetables or fruit and multiply, and then migrate to the flowers.
The excessive reproduction of blackflies in flower pots is facilitated by excessive soil moisture. In warm and humid conditions, the larvae hatch quickly from their eggs and begin to actively feed. Soon it becomes noticeable on the unhealthy type of houseplant - it languishes, the leaves wither and fall, despite the abundant watering.
At the initial stage, plant infection is difficult to determine. You should carefully examine it - the top layer of soil and the underside of the leaves.
If insects are seen on the leaflets, and small white larvae are in the ground, it is necessary to take urgent measures until the pests have settled everywhere.

Traps are replaced as necessary. Watering the plant all this time should be very moderate, so that the top layer of soil does not get wet. This is best done by placing the pot in a large container with water. The window sill and the surface of the earth are vacuumed without a brush. It easily draws any flying insects.
After processing, the disposable bag must be discarded, the usual empty outside the apartment and disinfected with dichlorvos.
After the destruction of adult blackflies in indoor pots, it is necessary to occupy the land, in which a large number of larvae still remain. The dried up and loosened earth is poured with a solution of one of the proven popular recipes:
- Garlic Infusion. One head of garlic is crushed and 0.5 liters of water is poured. Infusion stand for several hours, then plentifully watered the earth, sprayed the whole plant, and the remnants of garlic pulp mixed with the upper layer of the earth.

In such a greenhouse, all insects die within a few hours. It is necessary to remove the package in another room, where the flowers did not stand, and in the same place to carry out the treatment with a vacuum cleaner and place glue traps. After two weeks, the plants treated with dichlorvos return to their place.

Strongly infected land must be changed completely, freeing the roots from it. Then the whole plant together with the roots is treated with one of the special insecticides."Fitoverm", "Aktellik", "Bazudin", "Aktara" will be suitable for the destruction of pests.
For the prevention of re-infection, only steamed or insecticide-spilled soil should be used and watering should be followed, avoiding excessive soil moisture in the pot.
