Why plastic panels are not the best solution

Buyers choose plastic panels instead of tiles, believing that they are practical, easy to install and easy to clean. However, not everything is so good at using them.

Most often, panels are taken for the ceiling, there they will not break.

Of the minuses, it can also be noted that in a damp room on plastic, drops of water may remain, you will have to wipe the walls. Instability to scratches and temperature changes can significantly reduce the life of plastic on the walls.

To choose a high-quality panel, be sure to pay attention to the presence of a large number of stiffeners, and also the panel itself must be flat, have the same straight joints, and the picture is clear. Of course, it is worth paying attention to the size of the material itself, otherwise it may not be enough for facing the desired room.

Of course, buyers are attracted by the water resistance of the material, its low cost, quick installation, but they still lose to the ceramic tiles. They must not be lined with surfaces where there is a heating element. Also, the panels are afraid of sunlight. The panel may turn yellow, and the pattern may fade.

But the biggest negative, buyers do not like when their apartment resembles an office. That is why although the material is convenient, it is not in great demand. Moreover, not every set of finishing material has good decorative properties.

Also, plastic is not an environmentally friendly material, and can produce toxins when heated. That is why it should not be used near open fire, and it is also combustible. Also, in a room with plastic panels, an unpleasant odor lasts a long time.

Buying or not panels instead of tiles is up to the client, but they are not so good actually.
