3. Bituminous - used for repair and installation of the roof;
4. Polyurethane - such sealants are considered universal. Because their qualitative characteristics allow them to be used both for internal and external works;
5. Rubber - used to seal joints of the roof and facade work.

There are also polymer and silicate sealants.

In addition, there are special sealants for concrete, they consist of two components. They should be mixed well before use.

Where is sealant used?

Choosing the right composition depends on the purpose of using the sealant. Before purchasing it is necessary to carefully study the information on the package. There should be information about such qualities as:

• Resistance to low temperatures;
• Heat resistance, etc.

Among other things, it should be remembered that it is impossible to use sealant, which is intended for internal work, outside the building. Otherwise, the material will collapse very quickly.
