Production of the company

Gauss is one of the most famous brands of our time, manufacturing LED, compact furniture, street induction, energy-saving and moisture-proof lamps. At the moment, the official catalog, which is presented on the company's website, has about 500 different models that are classified by shape and size of the base, color rendering level, light spot size and cost. This brand belongs to Vatron, production is carried out in Russia, but sales are for all CIS countries (Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan), and deliveries in Europe (Italy, Germany, France and other).

The main feature of Gauss lamps is that at a relatively low price, they have excellent technical parameters:

  1. Complete lack of flicker;
  2. Soft luminous flux, in contrast to conventional incandescent bulbs;
  3. Low heat transfer, they practically do not heat up during operation;
  4. Can be without a dimmer and with it;
  5. Low power consumption.

Lamps of the Gauss brand are developed by a team of designers, so almost all models are not only practical, but also beautiful, you can choose a lamp for any interior. High security requirements are also a hallmark. These products pass several levels of control in laboratories in Germany, Russia, China, so The quality certificate complies with all the standards of electrical products, so the product defect is practically impossible.

Description of the design and principle of operation

Compact fluorescent lamps are bulbs that use fluorescent gas as the main substance to create visible light. Capsule luminaires consist of a glass tube that is coated with fluorescent material on the inside.

Luminescent materials are able to absorb certain frequencies of light, and then glow, emitting the formed light at a greater color wave than they can absorb. The CFL tube is filled with a mixture of gases containing a small amount of mercury, which is excited and emits ultraviolet light when an electric current is directed through it.

Ultraviolet light is absorbed by the fluorescent coating on the inside of the glass tube, and is converted into visible light, which has a wavelength longer than ultraviolet light. The amount of energy needed to excite the gas is much less than the amount of current required to heat the filament in a normal light bulb. The circuit diagram of the connection is the same as that of conventional luminescent models.

This type of fixtures has a significant drawback - they flicker during operation. Also, the forum of electricians complains of frequent breakdowns.

Gauss halogen lamps

Halogen bulbs are a type of bulb that use the same basic principle as incandescent bulbs, but able to achieve higher energy efficiency by increasing the durability and thermal potential of tungsten threads.

When the normal light is on, the tungsten filament should red-hot, a small amount of metal evaporates, and the lamp burns out. Halogen lamps use a chemical processing process by placing a thread under pressure in an environment of inert gases. Some gases can redeploy filaments, increasing lamp life. In this regard, halogen lamps can operate at a much higher temperature than conventional lamps, consuming less energy. Because the heat transfer coefficient is very high, such lamps are made of quartz. Halogen lamps consume much less volt energy than compact fluorescent lamps.

LED lights

LEDs are very similar in principle to standard incandescent lamps, except that the diode Gauss LED lamps use much less current and work without tungsten threads. Instead of filament, LEDs use only the movement of electricity along its semiconductor path. Like the flow of electrons through a semiconductor, they create electromagnetic radiation. Some forms of this electromagnetic radiation are not visible to humans, but under special conditions they can detect fungi, blood stains, etc.

The Gauss base can be of several types: e14, e27, gx53, gu53, gu10 and gu5. The most common are the e14 and e27 variants, which are used in the interior of almost every home. Others are intended for special applications: in production, for connection as headlights, etc.
